LeBron-O-Rama: Owner Dan Gilbert Not Consulting with His Star, Amare Opting Out

LeBron-O-Rama follows the off season travails of the one and only LeBron Raymone James. And by extension, everything done by the likes of Chicago, Miami, New York, New Jersey, et al, in pursuit of James and the rest of the 2010 free agent class. Much of it is rumor and almost all of it won't happen. But that's not the point. Like his pregame antics, this may get old and go on long into the summer (well, at least the getting old part is true), but LeBron-O-Rama will be here for as long as it takes. Enter (basically, just keep reading this post), as King James and perhaps your team's future await.

It appears as if the Tom Izzo to Cleveland reports are true and the longtime Michigan State coach is seriously considering an offer. But apparently, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert could care less what LeBron thinks about his hiring/firing decisions.
"The concept that LeBron James has been involved in any way, shape or form with firing our head coach, involved in the transition to general manager Chris Grant and will be involved in future coaching decisions and hires is totally, 100 percent and patently false," Gilbert said.
Alright, that's settled then. Doesn't Gilbert sound like a terrible version of Jerry Jones? Watch him lose out on LeBron and go after Rudy Gay and/or Joe Johnson. (Not that either one of them would sign there. Joakim Noah was right, who the hell wants to go to Cleveland?)

In other free agent news, Amare Stoudemire is planning on opting out of his contract in the event that Phoenix doesn't offer him an extension by the end of the month. So at least the Heat have that going for them.

[A contemplating LeBron via Bettors Edge (no clue what that is, BTW)]
